The County Administrator is appointed by the Northumberland County Board of Supervisors and serves as the Administrative Head of the Local Government.  The County Administrator's duties include, but are not limited to, seeing that all ordinances, resolutions, directives, and orders from the Board of Supervisors are being executed, overseeing other County Departments and Government offices, preparing and submitting the County's annual budget to the Board for their review, and executing/monitoring the budget as adopted by the Board of Supervisors.  

The County Administrator and staff play a major role in overseeing the County's day to day operations. Responsibilities include drafting, implementing and enforcing policies adopted by the Board, while also maintaining the record of proceedings for the Board of Supervisors.
