Board of Supervisors Public Hearing

Notice is hereby given pursuant to Chapter 22, 15.2-2204 of the Code of Virginia as amended that the Northumberland County Board of Supervisors will hold a public hearing on Thursday July 14, 2022 at 7:00 p.m. in the Northumberland County Courts Building (220 Judicial Pl) in Heathsville in order to consider the following requests.

1. Request by John M. Deihl, owner, for a Conditional Use Permit to construct a commercial pier on property zoned R-2, Residential Waterfront. The property is shown as Tax Map Parcel # 45-B(1)- 11-B and is located on Deep Water Lane.

2. Request by Philip Haynie, II, and Judith Haynie and Philip Haynie, III, owners, and Community Power Group, applicant, for a Conditional Use Permit to allow a utility-scale solar energy facility on property zoned R-2, Residential Waterfront. The property is shown as Tax Map Parcel #37-(1)-195 and 195-A adjacent to 642 Fairport Road.
