Economic Development Commission

The Northumberland County Economic Development Commission comprises five commissioners appointed by the Northumberland County Board of Supervisors for four year terms to represent each of the local election districts, as well as an Executive Director and the County Administrator.  The Commission operates within the framework of a strategic plan to retain and expand businesses throughout the county and enhance economic activities to benefit all businesses and citizens.

Northumberland County Career and Job Expo 2024

Are you looking for a new job?  Are you looking to hire new employees?  The Northumberland County Economic Development Commission and Public Schools are hosting a Career and Job Exposition (EXPO) on November 2, 2024 from 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM.  The EXPO will be held at the Northumberland County School JROTC building.  There will be hourly giveaways (all privately donated), refreshments, and more.  For more information, contact Robert Bullard at rbullard@co.northumberland.va.us.
