Conditional Use Permit Requests Public Hearing
Notice is hereby given pursuant to Chapter 22, 15.2-2204 of the Code of Virginia as amended and the Northumberland County Emergency Ordinance addressing Continuity of Operations during the Coronavirus (Covid-19) Pandemic, that the Northumberland County Board of Supervisors will hold a public hearing on Thursday, April 14, 2022 at 7:00 p.m. in the Northumberland County Courts Building (220 Judicial Pl) in Heathsville in order to consider the following requests.
1. Request by Betty Chamblee, owner, and Tamara Hall, applicant for a Conditional Use Permit to allow an expansion of a campground for boat storage on property zoned R-2, Residential Waterfront. The property is shown as Tax Map Parcel #30-(1)-2-“I” and is located at 925 Smith Point Road.
2. Request by Ranbec II, LLC, owner, for a Conditional Use Permit to allow expansion of an existing marina on property zoned R-2, Residential Waterfront. The property is shown as Tax Map Parcel #36-A(1)-77 and is located at 2379 Jessie Dupont Memorial Highway
