Board of Zoning Appeals Public Hearing September 3, 2024

Notice is hereby given pursuant to Chapter 22, 15.2-2204 of the Code of Virginia as amended that the Northumberland County Board of Zoning Appeals will hold a public hearing on September 3, 2024 at 7:00 p.m. in the Northumberland County Sheriff’s Office at 195 Judicial Place in Heathsville to consider the following request.

1. Request by John Lamb, Jr., owner, for a variance to the Northumberland County Zoning Ordinance, Article V, Section 148-49 to allow a structure less than the required 60 feet from the center line of the street right-of-way on property zoned R-2, Residential Waterfront. The property is located on Tax Map Parcel #2-(1)-112 at 2032 Mundy Point Road.

2. Request by James T. Newsome, Jr., owner, for a variance to the Northumberland County Zoning Ordinance, Article IV, Section 148-36 to allow an existing structure and a proposed addition less than the required 60 feet from the center line of a street right-of-way on property zoned R-1, Residential General. The Property is located on Tax Map Parcel #27-(1)-125-C at 213 Runners Lane.
