Wetlands Public Hearing - December 10, 2024

Notice is hereby given pursuant to Section 28.2-1302 and Chapter 14 28.2-1400 of the Code of Virginia, that the Northumberland County Wetlands Board will hold a public hearing in the Sheriff’s Office at 195 Judicial Place in Heathsville, Virginia, on Tuesday, December 10, 2024, commencing at 7:00 P.M., to consider the following application for wetland and/or coastal primary sand dune and beach permits:

  1. Request by Liza Cash (V.M.R.C. #24-2569) to install 110 linear feet of riprap revetment along the shoreline of Cubitt Creek and 182 Magnolia Lane.
  2. Request by Leslie A. Goodrich (V.M.R.C. #24-2674) to install 140 linear feet of riprap revetment along the shoreline of Owens Pond and 258 Oyster Bay Road.
  3. Request by Steven & Mariana Morris (V.M.R.C. #24-2621) to construct 150 linear feet of vinyl bulkhead and install 243 linear feet of riprap sill along the shoreline of Lodge Creek and 158 Butlers Lane.
  4. Request by Edward L. & Joy J. Norris Trustees (V.M.R.C. #24-2662) to construct 186 linear feet of timber bulkhead channelward of an existing bulkhead along the shoreline of Bridge Creek and 34 Waterview Lane.
  5. Request by Stuart P. Tansill (V.M.R.C. #24-2516) to install 111 linear feet of riprap revetment channelward of a deteriorating bulkhead along the shoreline of Whays Creek and 250 Lucom Point Drive.
