Planning Commission Public Hearing - November 21, 2024
Notice is hereby given pursuant to Chapter 11, 15.2-2204 of the Code of Virginia as amended, that the Northumberland County Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on Thursday, November 21, 2024 at 7:00 p.m. at the new Courthouse at 220 Judicial Place, Heathsville, VA, and telephonically in order to consider the following:
- Request by Roger M. Evans, Jr., owner, for a Conditional Use Permit to allow construction of a boathouse on property zoned R-2, Residential Waterfront. The property is shown as Tax Map Parcel #11-(1)-29-C and is located at 485 Clark Lane.
- Request by The Greater Reedville Association, owner, for a change in zoning classification to rezone Tax Map Parcel #38B(1)118C from Residential, Restricted, R-1 to Business General, B-1, in order to create a public park, and be able to rent the park for events. The aforesaid tax map parcel is located on Main Street. The lot is comprised of 2.296 acres and is located in the Fairfields Magisterial District.
- Request by The Greater Reedville Association, owner, for a change in zoning classification to rezone Tax Map Parcel #38B(1)118 from Residential, Restricted, R-1 to Business General, B-1, in order to comply with the existing zoning use. The aforesaid tax map parcel is located at 177 Main Street, and is referred to as Festival Halle. The lot is comprised of 0.83 acres and is located in the Fairfields Magisterial District.

All written comments should be received by the Office of Building and Zoning prior to the Commission meeting.
